Bardeen Engineering Leadership Program
The John Bardeen Engineering Leadership Program is designed to provide full-time entry-level opportunities for outstanding engineering graduates who are interested in working in an environment of technology and projects that support cutting-edge research. Fermilab provides opportunities in the fields of electrical, electronics, radio-frequency systems, power distribution, magnets, RF cavities, mechanical, materials science and cryogenic engineering.
Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (CSGF)
Established in 1991, the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems.
DOE Omni Technology Alliance Internship
The DOE Omni Technology Alliance Internship Program provides paid 10-week summer internships for up to three consecutive summers for talented undergraduate and graduate students in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and other related fields. Interns will hold appointments at DOE national laboratories, Power Marketing Administrations (PMAs), plants, DOE Headquarters, and other approved sites.
Neutrino Physics Center Fellowship Program
The NPC’s fellowship program is envisioned to bring the international neutrino community to Fermilab to engage with the neutrino community at Fermilab, for short to medium term visits. This includes both experimentalists, working on Fermilab experiments, and neutrino theorists.
URA Visiting Scholars Program
The Visiting Scholars Program was created by URA to help support visits by researchers from URA member institutions to work at Fermilab for up to one year. The program is available to graduate students, postdocs, or faculty involved in areas such as high energy physics, astrophysics, accelerator physics, materials science, and computer science in pursuits that align with the Fermilab mission. Awards for individuals are available up to $50,000 and the award is funded annually by each of the 93 URA member institutions.
