Inform your recommender to email the letter of recommendation to internships@fnal.gov to include your name and the internship program.
The application is the same as the deadline for letters of recommendation (LOR). Applicants who do not comply with application requirements will not be considered.
To make a change to a submitted application, email internships@fnal.gov.
You can apply to multiple internship programs. However, if you are selected for more than one internship program, you can only participate in one program per term.
In order to qualify for a high school internship, you must be enrolled in an Illinois high school.
Yes, if you are enrolled in a U.S. university on a visa you may participate in most internships. See eligibility requirements for each internship.
The link for the letters of recommendation is not automatic. Fermilab staff initiate email links Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
Interns are required to be onsite unless otherwise approved by the program manager.
You may extend your stay at your expense. Fermilab does not provide financial support for your extended stay. You are responsible for any airfare and housing cost differences.
